Tocumwal Railway Heritage Museum


The Tocumwal Railway Heritage Museum is located in the historic railway station.

At the western end of town, there are three museum areas. The front museum incorporates photos and memorabilia dating back to 1908 and a steam train mural. There is rail and Lion’s Club memorabilia, along with tea rooms in the middle room and the third museum is furnished with old furniture and memorabilia, together with a working model train display.


Tocumwal Town Beach


Town Beach Camping Area Tocumwal is a great spot by the river with potable water, toilets and cold showers for a budget price. The caretaker is on site to collect fees. Reasonably flat for motorhomes, caravans and tents.

There is plenty of wood for campfires. The river good for splashing around but be careful of the strong undertow.

Town is walking distance for supplies. A Farmers Market is held on the 3rd Saturday of the month on the Anglican Church grounds. The Foreshore Market days are huge but you will have to look up the internet for the dates as they vary and do not follow a certain time of the month. There is also the Rotary Garage Sale and Op Shops on Murray Street.


Tocumwal Foreshore Variety Market


Tocumwal Foreshore Market has 215 stallholder sites and is situated on the Foreshore of the Murray River in the centre of Tocumwal Township, market starts at 8am until approximately 1pm.

Their market is one of the oldest markets in Australia and was established in 1978, today it is considered a Premium Country Market by visitors and stallholders alike.

They always have many new and exciting products at each market including designer jewellery, ladies fashion clothing, handbags and shoes, fishing and sporting gear, pet supplies, plants and seedlings, fruit and vegetables, tools and equipment, antiques, designer garden sculptures and brush art, handmade glassware, candles and soaps, cosmetics and beauty products, artisan bread, conserves, to mention but a few.


Chrysties Classics And Collectibles Museum


Take a travel back in time. Come and experience the era of the classic cars, trucks, caravans, tractors and a host of other collectables. Set on 1.8 hectares, Chrysties Museum is a life time collection of amazing treasures which will enthral and amaze. From an old logging truck to working vintage cars, farming equipment, classic caravans, and collectables.

Tocumwal Golf & Bowls Club


Tocumwal Golf & Bowls Club offers two immaculately presented championship courses with excellent greens and gently undulating fairways of wintergreen couch. Each of the Captains and Presidents Courses offers a unique playing experience. With their relative location the holes on both courses can be arranged into four composite courses offering the golfer up to six different course combinations.
